Daniel P. Seink

Founder and managing partner Daniel P. Seink is certified as an Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation, which is the only certification accredited by the American Bar Association and the Supreme Court of Ohio Commission on Certification of Attorneys as Specialists. Mr. Seink devotes his practice primarily to those issues uniquely affecting the elderly, the disabled and their families.

Attorney Seink is the contributing Editor to the Elder Law Handbook published by the Ohio State Bar Association.  He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Section of the Ohio State Bar Association, and sits on the Elder Law Committee for the Ohio State Bar Association. Daniel volunteers as a speaker for the Alzheimer's Association and is a frequent lecturer to legal, financial, health and tax professionals.  An honors graduate of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and John Carroll University, Mr. Seink also served for three years as a staff attorney for the State of Ohio Court of Appeals.

James C. Bates

Attorney James C. Bates limits his practice to the areas of estate planning (trusts, both revocable and irrevocable, wills, and powers of attorney), estate administration, (trust settlement, probate, and guardianships), retirement tax planning, and business succession planning.  Mr. Bates is a frequent speaker on estate planning and elder law topics and is the author of the "The Basics of Trust Planning" chapter of the 2010 Ohio Bar Association Elder Law Handbook and an article on Estate Recovery as part of the OSBA's "Law You Can Use" series.

Mr. Bates is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Section of the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Elder Law Committee for the Ohio State Bar Association. 

Mr. Bates is a graduate of Miami University and the University of Akron School of Law.

Claudia Rose

Attorney Claudia Rose dedicates her practice to Elder Law and long-term care planning issues.  Ms. Rose has worked with older adults in hospital, nursing home and home care settings as a case worker for the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging and as a guardian for Cleveland's Volunteer Guardianship program. 

Ms. Rose is a graduate of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law where she served as an editor for the Journal of Law and Health, and holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University.

Gwen Geisheimer

Attorney Gwen Geisheimer focuses her practice on estate planning for families and is a trained mediator. Mrs. Geisheimer is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. Her article “An Appointed Time for Everything: The Effects and Ethics of the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 on Inheritance” was published in the 2007 NAELA Student Journal.

Mrs. Geisheimer graduated magna cum laude from The University of Akron School of Law where she served on the Editorial Board for the Akron Law Review.
